1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the DocuCar website and document generation service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, do not use DocuCar.

2. Scope of Service

DocuCar provides an online tool for generating state-specific Bill of Sale PDF documents for private vehicle transactions. The service includes:

• Guided data entry for vehicle, seller, buyer, and transaction details
• Generation of a completed Bill of Sale PDF document
• Email delivery of the completed document to the purchaser

DocuCar is a software tool — we are not a law firm, not a licensed attorney, and do not provide legal advice.

3. User Responsibilities

You represent and warrant that:

• All information you provide during the document creation process is accurate to the best of your knowledge
• You have the legal authority to sell the vehicle described in the Bill of Sale (or are acting as a legitimate agent of the seller)
• You will use the generated document in accordance with applicable state laws
• You are at least 18 years of age

4. No Warranties

DocuCar provides its service and documents "as is." We do not warrant that the documents generated will satisfy any specific legal requirement, be accepted by any particular DMV or government agency, or achieve any particular legal outcome. You are responsible for verifying that the document meets your needs and complies with your state's requirements.

DocuCar disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

5. Refund Policy

All sales are final. Because our product is a digital document that is delivered immediately upon purchase, we generally do not offer refunds once the document has been generated and delivered.

If you experience a technical issue — the document fails to generate, the email doesn't arrive, or the PDF is corrupted — contact us at docucar@polsia.app within 7 days of purchase. We will resolve the issue or issue a refund at our discretion.

Refunds requested due to user error (wrong state selected, incorrect information entered) cannot be honored once the document has been delivered.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DocuCar's total liability for any claim arising from your use of the service shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the document ($5.00 USD). In no event shall DocuCar be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, loss of data, or loss of vehicle value, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

7. Intellectual Property

The DocuCar service, including the website design, software, logos, and document templates, is the intellectual property of DocuCar / Polsia. You may not reproduce, modify, or distribute DocuCar's templates or software for commercial purposes. The generated Bill of Sale PDF is yours to use for your transaction.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from your use of DocuCar shall be resolved in the courts of Delaware.

9. Changes to Terms

DocuCar may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Effective" date. Your continued use of DocuCar after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
